 Cheryl has been a professional actor for over 35 years. She studied acting at the     Ryerson University Theatre department under the guidance of such instructors 

 as Iris MacGregor Bannerman, Mel Tuck, Raymond Clark, Sue Cox, and Basya Hunter.

She has performed diverse roles in many styles – drama, comedy, and musicals – across Canada. This past December, Cheryl was the narrator in "December Diaries" at the Jane Mallett Theatre. Some of her television roles include the caustic make-up woman in Deb McGrath and Colin Mochrie’s “Getting Along Famously”and the woman exploited for her ability to cry on cue in Ken Finkleman’s iconic parody “More Tears”. Commercial work has also been a mainstay. Most recently, Cheryl could be seen as the painting grandmother for RBC and the mom overwhelmed by Christmas gifts from her rivalrous daughters for Winner’s/Marshall’s.
Through various personal interests and for many years, Cheryl has spoken extensively to audiences of all sizes.
